Cookie Policy
Effective date: September 13, 2026This page explains what's stored in your browser when you use athenstestprep.org.
1. What we use
Athens Test Prep only uses strictly-necessary cookies — the kind a site can't function without, which don't require consent under cookie-law guidance (including the EU ePrivacy rules and Georgia/U.S. practice). Specifically:
- Sign-in / session cookies, set by our authentication provider, Clerk, when you sign in. These keep you signed in as you move between pages and are required for account pages (booking, dashboard, homework) to work at all.
- Checkout cookies, set by Stripe only on its own checkout page when you buy session credits, used to process your payment securely.
2. What we don't use
We don't use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or analytics cookies. We don't run Google Analytics, Facebook/Meta Pixel, or similar tools, and we don't sell or share browsing data with advertisers. If that ever changes, we'll update this page first and add a consent option for anything that isn't strictly necessary.
3. Your choices
Because we only use strictly-necessary cookies, there's no cookie-consent banner on this site — there's nothing optional to opt into. You can still block or delete cookies through your browser's settings at any time; doing so will sign you out and may prevent booking or dashboard pages from working, since those cookies are what keep you signed in.
4. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if what we use changes. The current version is always posted here with its effective date.
