Terms & Refund Policy

Effective date: September 2, 2026

These terms are a contract between you and Athens Test Prep LLC, a Georgia limited liability company (“Athens Test Prep,” “we,” “us”). They apply when you create an account, buy session credits, or book a session on athenstestprep.org. By doing any of those things, you agree to these terms.

1. Accounts

You must be at least 18 to create an account and buy credits. If the student is a minor, a parent or legal guardian must hold the account and agree to these terms on the student’s behalf. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure.

2. Session credits

One session credit entitles the account holder to one scheduled one-on-one tutoring session with an Athens Test Prep tutor. Session length and format are as described at the time of booking.
Credits are sold in packs. The price per credit and the pack total are shown at checkout before you pay.
Credits are tied to your account. They are not transferable and hold no cash value except as described in the Refunds section below.
Credits do not expire.

3. Booking, rescheduling & cancellation

You book sessions through your account. Each confirmed booking uses one credit.
You may cancel or reschedule a session at least 24 hours before its start time and the credit is returned to your account automatically.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the start time, or do not attend (“no-show”), the credit for that session is forfeited.
If Athens Test Prep cancels or reschedules a session, your credit is returned and we will work with you to find another time.
In-home sessions require a suitable, quiet workspace and, for a minor student, a parent or guardian present in the home. If we cannot reasonably conduct the session on arrival, it may be treated as a late cancellation.

4. Refunds

Unused credits may be refunded on request within 30 days of the purchase date. The refund is the amount you paid for those unused credits, returned to your original payment method.
After 30 days, credits are non-refundable, but they never expire and remain available to book sessions.
Credits already used for completed or forfeited sessions are not refundable.
Refunds are processed through Stripe and typically post within 5–10 business days.

5. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. By purchasing, you authorize the charge shown at checkout. You are responsible for any applicable taxes. We do not store your full card number.

6. Conduct; suspension

We may decline service, or suspend or close an account, for abusive, threatening, or fraudulent behavior, repeated no-shows, or misuse of the site. If we close your account without cause on our part, we will refund your unused credits.

7. No guaranteed results

Athens Test Prep provides tutoring and test-preparation services. We do not guarantee any particular test score, grade, or admissions outcome. Results depend on many factors outside our control.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to these terms or our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Georgia law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always posted on this page with its effective date. Material changes will not apply retroactively to credits you have already purchased.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Clarke County, Georgia, and you and Athens Test Prep consent to that jurisdiction.
